As a grave carer you clean and maintain graves at various cemeteries in your region. This includes cleaning gravestones and grave slabs, removing weeds and algae buildup, minor repairs, and reporting the status via our app. You work in the open air and set your own schedule.
No, experience is not required! We provide complete training in grave care. At our head office in Antwerpen you will learn everything about cleaning various types of gravestones, using our specialised products and working safely. This training is completely free. In addition, we regularly organise refresher courses.
After receiving your application we will contact you for an initial conversation. This conversation takes place at our head office in Antwerpen. If there is mutual interest, you will start the training shortly afterwards.
In accordance with the rules for flexi-jobs, you receive an attractive compensation above the minimum wage. In addition, you receive a mileage allowance for travelling between cemeteries and an allowance for materials used.
You decide for yourself how much you want to work, from a few hours per month to several days per week. The work is ideal as extra income, a student job, or for retirees.
A category B driving licence is a plus but not required for all vacancies. In some regions you work at fixed locations reachable by bike or public transport. You receive a mileage allowance if you have to travel by car.
We are active in all Flemish and Walloon provinces and Brussels. You will be matched with cemeteries in your own region.
